Job ready skills. Practised, proven and rewarded.

Yes. Our currently available Upskilling short courses do not require Matric or a prior formal qualification, and welcome learners of every nationality. You can enrol with Grade 10, O-Levels or a different education background. A South African ID is not required: create your account with your own name and details. Check any recommended skills on your course page. Account terms apply: learners must be 13 or older, with parental consent for under-18s. These short-course entry rules do not establish admission requirements for future formal programmes.

Creating an account and trying the first Upskilling modules is free, with no card needed. A full-course unlock starts from R 299, once off per course, with no subscription. It includes the remaining content, the course assessment and your GoalVow certificate once all completion requirements are met. Your course page and checkout show the exact price and applicable discounts. Additional premium Course Test attempts cost VOWR. Internet/data, required third-party software and external certification exams are separate.

Our current Upskilling short courses award a provider-issued GoalVow certificate of completion, not a nationally accredited qualification registered on the NQF. CPD-aligned describes learning hours, outcomes and assessed evidence; it does not mean accreditation or automatic approval by a professional body. Check with your employer or professional body whether a course meets their requirements. Microsoft courses follow MOS exam objectives, but official Microsoft certification requires a separate exam through an authorised testing centre.

Browse by career field on the home page or the course catalogue, or use "Find My Path": tell us what you want to achieve and we'll match you to real courses. Because the first modules are free, you can also simply start a course and see if it fits.

Yes. Meet all completion requirements for your course, including the required assessment pass mark (80% on premium Course Tests), to earn your GoalVow certificate of completion. Your PDF is available through your dashboard and carries a unique code others can check on our Verify a Certificate page. Share it with your practical work as evidence of learning; employment and recognition decisions remain with employers and professional bodies.

VowRewards is GoalVow's VOWR wallet. You earn VOWR for real milestones (enrolling, completing lessons, passing assessments, earning certificates) and you can use your balance towards course unlocks.

VR practice lets you rehearse real workplace situations (a difficult conversation, a high-pressure shift, a customer complaint) in a safe simulation. It runs in desktop 3D in your browser, with an optional WebXR headset mode. Every module closes with an immersive practice right after its summary, followed by a quick "Rate this Module" so your feedback shapes the next version.

You can access lessons, reading books and your dashboard using a recent browser on an Android phone, tablet or computer, with internet access. Your account saves progress across devices. Some software projects and 3D practice require a compatible computer or specific software, so check your course's practical requirements before paying. Internet/data and third-party software are separate costs.

Our Upskilling short courses are self-paced, so you can plan lessons around work and other commitments. The duration on each course page is a study guide, not a guaranteed completion date. A nine-week plan depends on that course's learning hours, practical work, assessment requirements and the time you can give it. Start with the free modules to judge the pace, then ask learner support if you need help planning.

Module knowledge checks can be retaken as often as you like. On premium courses, further Course Test attempts cost VOWR, so revise with the module summaries and reading books first. Every assessment shows its pass mark upfront.

Yes. Card payments are processed by trusted payment gateways such as PayFast. GoalVow never sees or stores your card details, and course access only unlocks after the gateway confirms your payment server-to-server.
